NY Times Still Playing White House Stenographer: Now With "Benchmarks"

Here's an article in the NY Times taken from a White House leak aimed at pretending there's "progress" being made in Iraq on 8 of 18 benchmarks, yet even the article blurs over exactly what those 8 and 18 are, much less how they relate to the 5 parroted by Congress in its funding bills - other than to mention in one sentence that the number 1 "benchmark" (stealing the oil) has not seen any "progress." This is probably because Bush and Cheney have UNITED THE WHOLE DAMN COUNTRY OF IRAQ AGAINST THEIR OIL THEFT LAW. Here's the full load of bull from the White House.
