Maine Democratic Party Follows Through on its Impeachment Resolution
By Lu Bauer
On June 22, 2007, the Maine Democratic Party Excecutive Committee voted unanimously to further the intention of the 2006 Maine Democratic Convention by forwarding said Resolution to the Speaker of the House, Pelosi, as a Petition to the House of Representatives, with the expectation that it will be recorded in the Congressional Record and forwarded also to the Members of the Judiciary Committee. Copies were also sent to Rep. John Conyers, Chair, Maine Reps. Tom Allen and Mike Michaud, and to Howard Dean at the DNC. The letters went out July 10th and have been emailed to follow up.

Could Some Explain What this Means?
Sorry, but I'm somewhat of a newbie at this website (although I've been writing essays in favor of impeachment and organizing campaigns aimed at Conyers, etc.)
Did Maine actually vote to impeach? Or just the Democratic party of Maine?
