Saddam Did 9/11 -- One-Third of Americans Believe the Big Lie

An important New York Times/CBS News survey finds that six year after the terror attacks of 9/11, "33 percent of all Americans, including 40 percent of Republicans and 27 percent of Democrats, say Saddam Hussein was personally involved." In reality, of course, Saddam and Iraq had absolutely no connection to the terror attacks. 1/3 of Americans believe the Big Lie propaganda tactics employed by the pro- war lobby. Only 5 percent of Americans "most trusted the Bush administration to resolve the war, the poll found. Asked to choose among the administration, Congress and military commanders, 21 percent said they would most trust Congress and 68 percent expressed most trust in military commanders. That is almost certainly why the White House has presented General Petraeus and Mr. Crocker as unbiased professionals, not Bush partisans."

SIX YEARS LATER
There has yet to be a comprehensive criminal investigation of the 3000 murders committed on September 11th, 2001.
Osama bin Laden is still at large, releasing videos with rock star regularity, that the MSM falls all over itself to promote. Funny, these same broadcast buffoons have been eerily silent about last year's closure of the CIA unit dedicated to finding bin Laden, not to mention the fact that his wanted page on the FBI website does not even mention 9/11 (Google "Osama FBI page").
We've been told that Osama minion Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the supposed mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, has been in custody for several years (having been held in one of George's secret CIA prisons overseas, then transferred to Guantanamo), but we have yet to see justice administered to him.
We've been saddled with the Constitution-shredding Patriot Act, the Department of Homeland Security, illegal warrantless wiretapping, the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq, the anti-American stigma that comes with torture, rendition, a million (and growing fast) dead Iraqis, four million (and growing fast) Iraqi refugees, and government infiltration and surveillance of peaceful anti-war groups, having been told "we have to fight'em there so we don't have to fight 'em here", and that it's all for our "protection."
Yet somehow, despite all the effort of the world's strongest military, all their sacrifice (4000 dead American troops and tens of thousands more permanently maimed), and the expenditure hundreds of billions of dollars, Al Qaeda, the small radical group that supposedly neutralized the greatest air defense system in the world with 19 guys carrying 3 dollar box cutters, led by a guy who shits in a cave, has now supposedly reconstituted its strength to pre-9/11 levels (according to the Bushies and their media lackeys), and we are once again at great risk here at home.
We've got three choices, folks.
The Bush administration is:
A - An unprecedented, monumental, criminally negligent failure of government.
B - An gang of murderous, self-serving, propagandizing thugs masquerading as our leaders.
C - Both.
Regardless of the answer, the only remedy that will save America as we know it is impeachment, removal from office, prosecution in American criminal court, and a planeload of Bushies with one-way tickets to the Hague.
