Assessment Needed To Examine Blackwater’s Failures
Kucinich: The Administration Must Rewrite The Rules To Restrict Private Security Contractors
From the office of Congressman Dennis Kucinich
WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 17, 2007) — Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), released the following statement after news reports today detail that Iraq’s Interior Ministry revoked the license of Blackwater USA. The American security firm was blamed for a Sunday gun battle in Baghdad that left eight civilians dead.
“The Administration needs to be called before Congress to see if Blackwater’s failures are provoking more conflict in Iraq,” Kucinich said.
“We shouldn’t have mercenaries in Iraq or any other war zone. Not only should the State Department launch a full and complete investigation into this incident, but Congress should also hold Blackwater accountable.
“Congress needs to examine whether the United States should even use security contractors in war zones. A thorough and comprehensive examination is needed to know the true implications of American security firms in Iraq.”

No Mercy No Quarter to mercenaries.
i say we turn ALL mercenaries over to Al-Qada as enemy combatants.
The fact these thugs get paid waaaaaaaay more than GI's doing the same thing is neauseating.
And it's a Big breath of fresh AIR to hear a congressman call for accountability and Justice in the same breath!
Toss in Greenspan's Blood for Oil punch line and the Shiek who wasn't and isn't, of Anbar province makes for some heavy thinking in the Bush Crime Family camp... maybe their heads will explode from the overload...?

And Bush over to Iraq for War Crimes Trial, like Saddam
They call it Justice in civilized nations, and it appears Kucinich gets it.
Seriously, it is against the Geneva Conventions to send POW's, Enemy Combatants or War Criminals to countries Knowing or Suspecting they will be "Persecuted" (Bush can't even walk the streets of the US), "Tortured" (liberalized definition) or "Killed" (Like by Hanging?... Goose AND Gander?)...

secret note: i want to see kucinich/paul or paul/kucinich take an independent strike at a one-term white house together for the singular purpose of foreign policy, military, and constitutional accountability, setting aside domestic priorities to save overseas lives. between them they represent the current majority of american thinking and interests... make the so-called front runners help them get the job done in four years and the ones that make the biggest mark would emerge to succeed this historic team.

The domestic agenda is serious and needs urgent attention, however, there is no time to waste in discovering the full depth of corruption that is haunting our military, intelligence, foreign policy, doj, and the executive office. both would launch a clean up of the beltway, while unanimous consensus on domestic policy could still emerge. the single-term election is designed to entice americans to stand down, sacrifice a little, stabilize, investigate, expose and or prosecute crimes of the state within the united states of america.
we need to be the people once again and it is only possible if we are not lying to ourselves!
Any merit? Is it a New Right On, or the same old Attack On Iran Plan?
