California Democratic Party to Consider Censuring Senator Feinstein
A resolution has been created to censure Senator Feinstein for her outrageous votes in the last two weeks as a member of the judiciary committee. There are many other votes that she has taken that have made many of us wonder when she became the Joe Lieberman of the West. If you know any people who are E-board delegates and who will attend the CDP E-board meeting this coming weekend, please contact them and ask them to vote for the resolution which follows:
Whereas the Democratic Party stands firmly against racism in any of its manifestations and for gender equality, and Senator Dianne Feinstein voted to confirm Judge Leslie Southwick for a seat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit despite his record of clear racism and gender discrimination; and
Whereas the Democratic Party abhors torture and stands firmly against its use by the United States at all times and places, yet Senator Feinstein voted to confirm Judge Mukasey as United States Attorney General – thereby elevating to the highest position in law enforcement a men who refuses to renounce the right of the President to resort to torture, or to recognize waterboarding as a form of torture; and
Whereas these examples are far from the only instances where Senator Feinstein, after seeking and securing the support and endorsement of the California Democratic Party, has worked to oppose the policies and principles of our party.
Therefore be it resolved that Progressive Caucus of the Democratic Party of California expresses its disappointment at, and censure of Senator Feinstein for ignoring Democratic principles and falling so far below the standard of what we expect of our elected officials.

How about censoring Pelosi, Reid, Bayh (D-IN), Carper (D-DE), Feinstein (D-CA), Landrieu (D-LA), Nelson (D-NE), Schumer (D-NY) and Hoyer......

Dianne Feinstein should be scrutinized
In the special election for Calif. governor, in the early 2000s, the Dems begged Dianne Feinstein, their best hope, to run against Arnold Schwarzenegger. At the time, I wondered, why did Feinstein think it was so important to be a senator that she refused the Calif. Dems in our hour of need. I have had no use for her since, but have studied these War Party electeds, and she is one of them. In her last go round, Dianne Feinstein is clearly doing everything she can to serve the foreign policy interests of narrow factions in some of the foreign nations interested in misusing the U.S. resources on behalf of gulling us into wars for them in the Middle East, and they don't mind destroying us in the meantime, and she appears to be okay with that. Pelosi is in the band of brothers with her; and so appear to be Steny Hoyer, Chuck Schumer, Rahm Emanuel, and John Conyers and many others, including many, if not most, Republicans. On the other hand I have not seen that Sen. Russ Feingold, Rep. Dennis Kucinich, Rep. Wexler from FL, Rep. Maxine Waters (CA) and some others, clearly in the minority, are in that group. Feinstein and her mates should all be censured and maybe impeached; because they are helping those who want the Bush players and the Dems they have co-opted, all through the War Party, to stay in office (thinking this is the path to war). I do not see why she should retire before being called out. None of these folk will vote to impeach if it is not wanted by these foreign interests. They should be censured, impeached, the whole ball of wax as to being shamed out of office. They do not acknowledge the people; never get out of their limos. I think Maxine Waters is the one who could tell it all; don't know if she has been interviewed lately.

This sounds right to me! I haven't forgotten that Diane Feinstein caved in to GWB and his Medicare re-do in 2003. That was classic pork barrel legislation for the pharmaceutical industry the way the Iraq war was for Halliburton.

When will progressive dems wake up and stop assuming members of their party are automatically the "good guys"? DiFi has been screwing us Californians over for years, but the dems love her as long as she hugs a tree every once and a while.
When will progressive dems stop enabling these leeches who grow fat and wealthy from promoting the worst abuses of liberty? Their party has become overgrown with weeds and needs a culling. There is a war going on in this country and we are getting our butts kicked because Dems just don't seem inclined to fight back. When are Progressives going to stand up to the Do Nothing Dems in their own party?
Censuring DiFi is just the tip of it.
