Folks, DENNIS KUCINICH IS AN AMERICAN HERO. This incredible, exhausting, profound campaign was the greatest act of political activism in memory. He used the platform of his candidacy to speak the voice of PEACE, JUSTICE and the COMMON GOOD.
Please send him your profoundest gratitude. He, as well as Mike Gravel, represented the political direction the nation needs to take.
Dennis will be filing a 90-count indictment against BOTCH. The actions of Congressmen Kucinich in the House of Representatives have been historic, even while undergoing this grueling campaign. We MUST work now to be sure that he retains his seat in Congress, where he will continue to fight from inside the system toward the requisite goals of peace, justice and the rule of law.
My deepest gratitude to the campaign and its supporters for all your genuine and visionary efforts, which I hope will continue as the struggle to sustain Dennis Kucinich in his 10th district now embarks against the corporate interests trying to unseat him.
But most extreme gratitude to Dennis Kucinich, and Elizabeth Kucinich, for challenging the system from within, and offering us all a vision of society that opened our hearts to the possibilities of compassion, health, justice and peace on earth.

Dennis -- A REAL American Patriot
It's really sad that so many of our fellow citizens fail to recognize those individuals who embody the true spirit of American patriotism, and who tirelessly fight on behalf of the American people in the spirit of the Constitution.
Dennis Kucinich is a man who is truly a patriot in the same spirit of FDR and John Kennedy. He wasn't afraid to take on the Anglo-Dutch financier oligarchy by repudiating their tactics of buying members of the House and Senate in order to insure that their will would be done, instead of the will of the American people. And not only has Dennis spoken out on behalf of the American people, he's done something which none of the other "Democratic" Presidential candidates have done -- he's backed up those words with bold actions, such as being the first one to defy Nancy Pelosi's "Ms.Leadership" by openly demanding the impeachment of Dick Cheney.
Dennis Kucinich is the genuine American patriotic candidate who could have taken America to new heights had he been the one to become our President. Even though that's no longer possible, we need to keep him in Congress so he can continue to fight the good fight on behalf of the "invisible Americans" -- those Americans that the other "Democratic" Presidential candidates have only recently discovered, but who never cared about them as much as Dennis does.

His clip explaining that it’s a 90-count indictment taking months to draft-- I'm already exhausted thinking about all that amazing campaigning, speaking and traveling (adoring coverage by the media notwithstanding).
And then that heroic spewage on the house floor forcing our lone patriot to redact his words (dontcha worry, Dennis, you're not getting expunged from THIS record!) might require a few nights rest and a massage before facing the entire pelosi-led house who's by now primed with all sorts of strategic barrages to quash, quell, and quagmire any quixotic quest or query.
In a way, I'm glad Dennis won't be taking so many small planes...

Kucinich Starts New Impeachment Drive
Representative Dennis J. Kucinich of Ohio may get excluded from Democratic presidential debates, as he has been recently, but no one can deny him the floor in the House.
And today Mr. Kucinich took to the floor to fire off his latest salvo at the Bush administration: his plans to introduce Articles of Impeachment against President Bush on Jan. 28 — the day of Mr. Bush’s State of the Union speech.
Accusing the administration of lying about the need for the war in Iraq, Mr. Kucinich said he did not need to hear the president’s assessment. “We know the State of the Union,” he declared. “It’s a lie.”
He also fired a volley at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California who has maintained that impeaching Mr. Bush is not on the table for Congressional Democrats. “If impeachment is off the table,” Mr. Kucinich said, “truth is off the table. If truth is off the table then this body is living a lie.”
Mr. Kucinich introduced Articles of Impeachment against Vice President Dick Cheney last April and in November, with the surprise help of Republicans seeking to embarrass the Democrats, he nearly succeeded in securing an hour of debate on the House floor. House Democratic leaders blocked that, however, by referring the impeachment effort back to the Judiciary Committee.
Anti-Bush groups have been urging Mr. Kucinich to undertake an effort to impeach the president.
Re Time of Kunicich on C-Span on 1/28
I looked at www.house.gov for schedule. There is nothing on the schedule other than house convenes at 2 p.m. Gives them a break, I guess because they will all be expected to watch the State of the Lies at 9 till...
Generally the house gavel and prayer occur at ten am and members are given the opportunity to give one-minute speeches before scheduled business. That is when Kucinich made his announcement the other day.
Wexler had to, or chose to wait until after scheduled business to make his announcement on January 15 regarding call for impeachment hearings. He couldn't have made the speech he gave in one minute and probably couldn't get it scheduled as part of the day's business. It is pretty unclear to me how to get "on the schedule". Most members had left, but if you saw the video, the applause was enthusiastic and lots of us likely sent out to friends, media and their own Congress people.
So back to when. I don't know. Earliest would be a bit after two pm, but unlikely because just touching on a few of Bush's impeachable offenses would take more than a minute. There is a committee meeting about a New England designated nature trail at 4, but other than that I don't see anything. My really uneducated guess is that nothing requiring house members to be present is or will be scheduled so other house members don't feel compelled to attend. Then their staff members can say "Representative so and so wasn't there and hasn't made a comment to us about Representative Kucinich's resolution."
Again, this is all a guess from me. Would love to hear someone more up on house rules and procedures.
