Just as Alex Jones is a provocateur, and a bs artist who seeks to discredit the whole 911 Truth movement. We may suppose that Take Back America seeks to discredit the whole antiwar movement.

And they will put them selves and others who follow in violation of the Executive order blocking property of certain persons who have used violence or may use violence to undermine stabilization efforts in Iraq.

That article is not calling for violent revolution. Its claiming a revolution is going to happen whether we want it or not, and gives a strong argument why.

I think their argument is very plausible. Does that make me an 'overfed astroturfer'? What if I told you I have always voted Democrat, am very liberal, and dearly want to see Bush, Cheney and the entire cabinet doing hard time in Leavenworth?

The escape valve in the constitution you mention only works if you have someone in power willing to turn it. There are many who are willing to turn the valve, as you point out every single day, but there are also many, many, Democrats as well as Republicans who have a non-trivial interest in seeing that the valve doesn't get turned.

I think you should go back and reread that article with a less hysterical eye, because it clearly went over your head.

it is still important that voices are heard

there is more a foot as to why impeachment is being thwarted

and there is more a foot as to why anyone would take such a vehement critical stance

the mechanisms for government balance are broken or they have been sabotaged

it is most important that the remedies be seen for what they are, and what are the consequences if the real source of politcal scourge is not identified. The problem is that if the new solution does not fix anything at all. Some believe gangbusters all the way.

Americans should be aware that the government is not fair at all, and that in their heated protests care should be given in how grievance is presented.

There are now new fresh people who are making their voices heard in their own particular ways. They are unaware how so many have been arrested on groundless charges and the court costs and twisted experiences honest good hard working people have had to endure when their entire elected body of officials have gone missing or are against their own constituant will.

It is most important that they who are in their heated discourse use historical basis for their arguments. They should be scholarly, informed, and yes have a lawyer near by with a video camera.

Americans speak for themselves. Friendly advice might mean they have friends too in this climate of complete upheaval.

You are dealing with thugs with cops who beat people to death. They are your politicians and judges. They don't recognize soccer moms.

A misdemeanor charge is very serious, they have criminalized EVERYTHING.

I thought this was an extremely well written article to be so caustically dismissed. Much more thoughtful than your backhanded response. The safety valve you spoke of is broken because it has been seized by criminals who refuse to use it while they plunder the county because - they are criminals plundering your country. There is another safety valve in the constitution, it's called revolution. The only reason it could become violent would be that the criminals who have illegally seized control of your country won't want to give it back without a fight. This is EXACTLY the type of discussion we need to be having right now, not more baloney about working inside a totally criminal system, but abolishing that system and restoring the rule of law. Punish the guilty, don't work with them, don't support them, don't promote them. I'll write you from the concentration camps.

Impeachment only works when Congress is willing to impeachment. To date, they have flat out refused, and have colluded in every unconstitutional thing the Bush administration has ever done.

They are not an opposition; they are in the pockets of the same corporate interests.

For decades before the American Revolution, colonists tried to ask Parliament to address their concerns and uphold their rights to no avail. Sound familiar? We have no voice, it seems more and more.

As much as I would like to see this come to a peaceful conclusion, I do not think it is to be. Many of the built in safeguards you mention have been dismantled. Those still in place are either overseen by the servants of the corporations or by those who do not have what it takes to do what needs to be done.

It's called the Constitution, the single most revolutionary political document in human history. The surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown did not mark the end of the American Revolution, simply the end of the war that made it posssible to survive. The 230 years since then is a very brief amount of time in the face of human history for such a radical document of take full effect on the human condition. The only way we can save our Constitution is through the use of it. Anyone who advocates "violent overthrow of the government" is either a government implanted agent provacatour, or an historically challenged complete damn fool.

Check out how the IRA was run by a British agent who not only incited violence against British citizens but planned out the attacks in detail that resulted in the murder of innocent women and children of his own country.

The truth is everything the US needs can be done within the law!

There are people who will try to trick others into breaking the law so that they have an excuse to justify the beatdown that they're already planning on.

Don't give them that excuse!
