Update on Plame

Had lunch today with a person who has a direct tie to one of the folks facing indictment in the Plame affair. There are 22 files that Fitzgerald is looking at. These include Stephen Hadley, Karl Rove, Lewis Libby, Dick Cheney, and Mary Matalin (there are others of course). Hadley has told friends he expects to be indicted. No wonder folks are nervous at the White House.

blood letting
I support the proposed constitutional amendment banning the execution of a president or
vice-president of the United States.
Though the Bush administration has been responsible for the unnecessary deaths of tens of thousands of both Iraqis and americans, there has been enough blood spilled already.
Prosecution and conviction of those responsible should not lead to a sentence greater than life imprisonment.
The Penalty For High Treason Is And Should Be Death.
The penalty for the use of chemical weapons like the white phosphorus used on civilians in Falluja should be death.
The penalty for deciding to scatter tons of uranium 235 all over the earth should be death.
They have wantingly and knowingly conspired to comit war Crimes, have committed those crimes, and have perpetrated numerous horrible murders. They therefore deserve no mercy.
The penalty for such High Treason is and should be death.
And I will not ask God to grant them any mercy.
