Arcata City Coucil Passes Impeachment Resolution

I made my own resolution here:
Staunch Libertarian Prepared To Support Democrats And Republicans, If Impeachment Of Bush Is Top Priority

The list of impeachable offenses grows almost daily. Pressure your representatives to begin the official investigations. Bush should be sitting in a cell in the Hague but, for now, let's get his ass impeached!

Everyone call, write, e-mail or whatever your elected critters and demand that this crappy excuse for a president and administration be impeached and shipped off to the Hague for trial as war crinimals. The time is now.

I was hoping when the Katrina story broke, people would begin to see the plight of the poor. There are 45 million people in America in the same boat. The Republican's in California have made the poor the next scapegoats. Those of us who live on 50 percent below the poverty level see our lives ending up on the streets. The disabled are particulary hit hard. No cost of living raise in three years, new medicare insurance non coverage makes the poorer and the sickest receipent pay for drugs forcing them to eat or take their medications, or not being able to pay the high cost of rents and dieiing on the streets while the rich buy casles in the Hamptons. When I got on the program in 1968, if I wanted to go to work, I could earn $65.00 a month. Any earnings after that in incure a 50 percent grab by Social Security. They would take the gross right out of a person's disability check. Today if I wanted to go to work I could earn $65.00 per month and then they take their cut. If I should lose the job, it takes at least two months to have the monies restored to the receipent. By that time the receipent is thrown out of their humble abode and is living on the streets. Mininum wage jobs receive $7.75 per hour and are entitled to food stamps. The disabled ln California live on $4.15 cents per hour and are not entitled to food stamps. If you ask anybody in the Social Security office they will inform you that you have more than anybody else. Meaning that in other states disability payments are far less. Their callous remakes overwhelm me. They also informed me that loans are extra income and therefore are entitled to take their share. If you think the democrats are any better, guess again. Barbara Boxer told me she voted againse the medicare bill but what the heck, she got a raise for the cost of living. I can honestly tell you that nothing is going to change until big business is kicked out of the government or until the poor are dead and the middle-class becomes enslaved to corporations like Wal-Mart.

What in the heck are you people drinking, smoking or eating....? Our President, in a time of WAR, has a responsibility to defend us.... WE ARE AT WAR AFTER ALL. Impeach our President? Why don't you idiots just join the enemy's of our country and fight against our country. I mean you are, after all, giving aid and comfort to the enemy's of our country.
Every Congressman, and Senetor in Washington, saw the same intelegence about WMP's before we attacted Irag. Every one of them agreed we had to go into Iraq. No matter what they are saying now. One of Sadam's highest ranking Generals said Sadam had, up to just a few weeks or months before we went into Iraq, weapons of mass distruction... they were transfered to Syria.
As far as listening in on phone calls between enemy's of our country outside of this country to people inside this America... ARE YOU KIDDING ME... Bush is supposed to ignor these threat's...??? If an attach on this country happened now and we found out that a stinking delay, due to having to get a warrant in this time of war, was the reason we didn't act in time to protect ourselves... Bush would be blamed for that, and in fact would be impeached for not fullfilling his obligation to protect us from our enemies....
Do you really think that durring WW2 the FBI worried about getting a warrent before listening in on signals between traitors, or enemy spies, here in our country and enemies abroad? If we fought that war with the same mindset most liberals in this country have in this country now... we'd be speaking a different language and saluting a different set of flags.
Maybe you idiots should be worrying about the area of your own authority... your City... and leave the war to people who have the backbone to fight it. All feelings aside, you people disgust me. Impeachment... maybe you people should be impeached for not fullfilling your obligations.
