RNC-Backed Media Attack on John Conyers Rolls On

The Detroit News is terrified that last June's hearing on the Downing Street Minutes might become a real hearing with subpoena power. The openly right-wing ravers are starting to claim that Congressman Conyers is part of the real culture of corruption, and the USA Today is putting out that same party line. Let's compare the cultures of corruption:
One lies the nation into an illegal war, kills hundreds of thousands of innocent people, uses chemical weapons and depleted uranium, targets civilians, detains without charge, tortures, spies without court approval, leaks classified information to punish opponents, produces phony news stories, targets real journalists, abandons New Orleans, awards contracts to companies based on their support of Bush, openly violates 750 laws, threatens to nuke Iran, and throws orgies/bribery parties at the Watergate.
The other stands accused of employing a staffer as a babysitter.
It's a tough call.
With some Democrats, however, the culture of corruption is clearly bipartisan.
Tell the media you support John Conyers.

Rep. Conyers... vs. the RNC Juggernaut?

Today's rosy scenario: the House and Senate fall to the Democrats this Fall...

...is all too dependent on this Administration's ability to shoot itself in the foot. These bozo's could get a couple 'right', re: the fickle American public.

Let's say Osama is captured or killed (proven dead?), another attack by the al-Quaeda operatives is 'FOILED' and we have a whole new ballgame.

Remember: it's okay with a large percentage of people in this country to go for warrantless wiretaps and fishing expeditions as long as it's someone else whose constitutional rights are trampled on.

I just hope the Democrats, the party of working people?... won't let Rep. Conyers twist slowly in the wind while the RNC tanning crew eviscerates him for his political hide...
