Permanent Bases in Iraq
This needs to be brought into the light of day!!! America has no business building permanent bases in Iraq. For what reason would WE need bases??? The building of infrastructure to help the Iraqi people [ water, electricity, roads and schools] is the most important thing we should be doing. No closed door actions, no more trying to fool the American people!!!
Blackburn
I hate to say it, but my representative is Marsha Blackburn. It is an extreme embarrassment to me that the people of my state were stupid enough to elect this woman. I will do everything I can to see that next time, we elect someone ethical and interested in doing what is right for our country.

VOTE PAPER BALLOTS...SCREAM IT!
Blackburn et al
Good for you, Patty. Keep up the good work, politics is not a spectator sport.
John Kilcher
Unholy Reps
Shame, shame, shame on you 3 Dems who voted in favor of permanent bases in Iraq! Why in the world do you want our military over there when there is so much to be done here in our country! You all know that this war will NEVER be over!! Stay or go, the Muslims will forever carry on their holy wars!! Let our troops come home!! It's all about money, money, money! War brings money! Who needs it? Just you fat cats!!
Lungren v. Dem Candidate Durston
I'm not surprised to see my representative here in CA, Dan Lungren, voted for permanent bases - what I am convinced of is the people he represents had no idea what his agenda was when he was elected to replace a moderate. Bill Durston is a wonderful opposition candidate for his seat in the HOR and I will do everything I can to make sure the consitutents in my district find out the differences between these two men.
u.s. base in Iraq vote list.
Incredibly I am amazed to NOT see my congressman David Drier showing on the yes list. Good Republican that he is perhaps there is hope for this Friend of Dorothy after all.
I hate to say it too.............
Yea, I hate to say it to, but everyone thinks that Bush is from Texas, but he isn't. he's from Conn. He just came down here to get rich and for a hat that was large enough to fit over his ego.
They have spent Billions of dollars on the bases. You didn't really think that they were just for keeping our military safe did you? I mean, why bother if the vehicles didn't have armor and they didn't have bullet proof jackets to wear? So why such bases? It couldn't be for the average "Joe". They want, and intend to have Iraq's oil. I really didn't beleive that the first 500 times i heard it, but i believe it now.
Tiahrt is an Embarrassment to all Kansans
Rep Tiahrt does not and has not represented the American Citizens of Kansas. He represents himself and the criminal Bush and Company.
Tiahrt should be removed from office and given a position that he has advocated in his many years in the house. That is being sent to Iraq as an American Soldier, then maybe he will get some sense of what an aggressive war is that is being conducted by the World's leading Terrorists--Bush and Cheney.
stupidy of some members of congress
any senator or representative who votes in favour of continued u.s. military presence in iraq or afganistan needs to be voted out of office , this is exactly what the anit-environmental bush/cheney regime wants, a u.s. military establishment in every part of the world it can --bush sees himself as the ruler of the world and all nations to bow to his demonic and demented will. illegal spying on citizens or anyone in any part of the world, or illegal use of c.i.a. flights to transport "suspects" to places of tortue mean nothing to the bush regime.
congressional stupidity
VOTE OUT THE INCUMBENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
