Kucinich on Supplemental: It's About Oil

From the office of Congressman Dennis Kucinich

WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 10) - Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) released the following statement after the passage of the U.S. Troop Readiness, Veterans' Care, Katrina Recovery, and Iraq Accountability Appropriations Act of 2007:

"There has been a broad deception about the content of the hydrocarbon law, a deception which has taken in members of Congress and the media. Misdescribed tactically as a revenue sharing plan, it is in fact a radical plan to privatize Iraq's oil.

"The law before the Iraq Parliament contains 3 vague lines about revenue sharing and 33 solid pages of a complex legal restructuring, facilitating the privatization of Iraq's oil resources. The sharing will not be 1/3 of 100%. The sharing is more likely to be 1/3 of 20% at most, after private oil interests take their cut. The stage is being set for theft on a historic scale.

"Iraq may have as much as 300 billion barrels of oil to be tapped. At a market value of $70 a barrel, the value of its oil may approach $21 trillion.

"In the past twenty four hours the Vice President made an extraordinary trip to Baghdad to urge the Iraqi Parliament to stay in session to pass a "hydrocarbon law" which provides for "revenue sharing." Today, President Bush explicitly mentioned that he could come to an agreement if it included a benchmark for "sharing oil reserves." This is the tone of the legislation which the House passed tonight.

"The legislative debate between the Congressional Democrats and the Republicans misses the point of the key issue regarding the invasion, occupation and long term US presence in Iraq - - oil.

"The attempted theft of the oil assets of Iraq under the guise of a plan to end the war will keep the war going long into the future.

"This is the time to be taking steps to end the U.S. occupation, stabilize Iraq, and give Iraqis full control of their oil assets."

Thank-you, Mr. Kucinich. Someone Must Help These People!!!

Thank-you, Mr. Kucinich for enlightening us. Ramsey Clark is also horrified at this blatant and demonic theft of oil from these people. Bush and Cheney are in a frenzy to force the Iraqi parliment to be swindled out of their rightful resources. In the words of Ramsey Clark, regarding the war : "That's what this criminal adventure was about in the first place." Col. Robert Bowman has adamantly denounced this heinous "oil war". In the words of Dr. Bowman: "These thugs are ordering the nation's sons and daughters to kill Arabs for oil." Mr. Kucinich is another decent man, as evidenced by his attempt to let us know what is REALLY happening. Bush is putting more energy into his criminal theft of trillions of dollars worth of Iraqi oil than he has put into anything that has happened since he stole office in 2000. Cheney's unprecedented trip to Iraq to LIE and persuade the Iraqi "Parliment" that this oil bill is in their "best interest" is nothing short of EVIL. That's why they took out Sadaam. He wouldn't give up the oil. Someone must help these people. (Perhaps John Kaminsky of" Maine Lawyers for Democracy / Impeachment" or William Veale of "Patriots Question 9-11"). Enlighten them about the TRUTH. This illegal Iraq War has always been about stealing the oil. That is why Bush/Cheney engineered the sinister false-flag horror of 9-11. David Ray Griffin calls this "unmitigated, demonic evil" in one of his 9-11 truth books. They are mass murdering, greedy criminals.

The "Hydrocarbon Law" Should Be Called The "Evil Theft Law"

The "Hydrocarbon Law" should be called the"Evil Theft Law". Or even more aptly named:the "REASON FOR THE INSIDE JOB OF 9-11 LAW". This is indecent and immoral. Thank-you to Mr. Kucinich for telling us what the MSM hides!

I heard an Arab say,...

...an ordinary Arab who was being interviewed by a reporter on a street somewhere over there, that every gallon of oil pumped out of that place cost a gallon of Arab blood.

Is it any wonder they hate us? And they probably, most of them, anyway, don't hate US, but hate what we let happen to them so that we can have our oil.

Kucinich is right. End this occupation, and let Iraq keep their oil. Bush/Cheney took a gamble, and they lost. They thought they could get Iraq's oil cheaper than what it's turned out to cost, but they lost.

Time to walk away (HR 1234), and
Time to make them pay (HR 333).

What about 1234--...

Blood for Oil

My take is: that it's not about pumping our oil under Iraqi sands
it's about NOT pumping oil... and controlling the market? But i can't understand how all this carnage helps the US Oil Companies unless it's part of the Neo-Con/Neo Liberal plan? ... (Did Saddam refuse to deal with US Oil companies in the 90's?)
At anyrate the Iraq parliment will no doubt see through all this cloaking of oil theft in the Hydrocarbon bill... christ, this is the cradle of Civilization = they have to see how uncivilized this bill is. When the ppl of Iraq found out they were sold down the drain again they'll hang the parlimentarians - which is precisly what Cheney is doing over there.
Fact is not one single Dark-side oil company in the world has the right to the oil and mineral righs under Iraqi sands... and the sands of time will run red when the first voice from the Dark-side utters this truth... it was and is for Oil...and the Dominionists have a certain hand as well.

How long of a sound bite is this?

Catch Phrase
NeoColonialism* as a Foreign Policy is a flawed policy.

This says it:

"The law before the Iraq Parliament contains 3 vague lines about revenue sharing and 33 solid pages of a complex legal restructuring, facilitating the privatization of Iraq's oil resources. The sharing will not be 1/3 of 100%. The sharing is more likely to be 1/3 of 20% at most, after private oil interests take their cut. The stage is being set for theft on a historic scale."

n. A policy whereby a major power uses economic and political means to perpetuate or extend its influence over underdeveloped nations or areas.

Now STEALING from a sovereign nation is "SHARING" !

PSA's > How Orwellian is that?!

P.S. Does the definition include MILITARISTIC means too?:
