Randi Rhodes Puts Robert Wexler Over 200,000

The Randi Rhodes Show worked its magic today just as it used to do for www.afterdowningstreet.org almost three years ago. Congressman Robert Wexler came on and discussed the need for Cheney impeachment hearings. His petition at http://wexlerwantshearings.com passed the 200,000 mark before the show was over.

3:25 Randi just said that Conyers phoned her last night to chat, and she brought up impeachment, and he refused to talk about it, said that he'd just called to chat. Apparently he's trying to make friends with people he was friends with two and a half years ago when he was pushing for impeachment. He's feeling the pressure bad and hasn't figured out what to do.
3:27 Randi is playing part of Wexler's floor speech on impeachment from Tuesday evening...

3:34 Wexler is on. He and Randi are both promoting the need to get www.wexlerwantshearings.com over 200,000. It's now at 199,600.
Wexler says he'll put the names of signers into the Congressional Record. Kucinich had planned to do this too but never did it.
3:37 Randi is going over the areas for Cheney impeachment investigation.
3:37 Wexler is stressing that the Watergate Tapes didn't come out until after they'd started the hearings. And when the hearings started the Democrats were unsure and the Republicans were all against impeachment.
3:38 Wexler is accusing Cheney of abusing "excutive privilege" and stressing that an impeachment hearing removes that privilege.
3:39 Randi wants to hold Bush and Cheney accountable. She's throwing in the economy along with all the other Bush-Cheney disasters. She predicts Cheney will never resign, that he's worse than Nixon.
3:40 Wexler says these are all issues related to the Vice President's powers, unlike the Clinton impeachment. Wexler also says Congress must enforce subpoenas, including those sent to Miers and Bolten.
3:41 Randi is reminding us all why Miers and Bolten were subpoenaed in the first place: the political hiring and firing of US attorneys.
3:42 Wexler says Scott McClellan also needs to be brought into the Judiciary Committee to testify about the outing of Valerie Plame.
[AND WE'RE OVER 200,000!!! Randi and Wexler don't know it though.]
3:43 Randi is stressing that www.wexlerwantshearings.com is a call for impeachment hearings, not impeachment.
3:44 Wexler is talking about the White House announcement that it will order the DOJ not to enforce contempt citations.
3:45 Wexler just thanked Randi for putting it over 200,000. YEAH!
3:45 Wexler and Randi are praising their staff. But they're not SAYING the web address again, which is what they should do.
3:46 Randi is predicting success.
3:52 Segment just ended. At 3:47 the electricity went out in my house for a split second and I lost my internet connection and what I was blogging. Randi DID say the web address three more times and chatted about nonsense and elections with Wexler. He's good on the radio. When can we get him on TELEVISION???

All the polls indicate there are millions of patriotic Americans who would like to URGE the House Judiciary Committee to schedule immediate impeachment hearings. Somehow these folks need to find their way to www.WexlerWantsHearings.com. When and if that happens, millions of good folks could sign on. Hey, these good citizens just want Congress to do their jobs. THAT's not asking too much. By doing their jobs they would "earn their salt". That's an American value!

Interestingly enough, there is no mention of Wexler or his petition on the bcimpeach.com website. Wouldn't it make sense for us all to pull together since we're after the same target?

ALL the Impeach sites gotta get on board this tsunami of signatures. I love the way Wexler humbly acknowledged the sites that came before his petition ... this man is a great statesman! I only hope he can show and encourage Conyers to come back to us.
We really have NO choice now because there is NO turning back. This is our survival as a nation at stake . We canNOT risk the precedence this Bush cabal has set for future Admins.!
the Leno action

I didn't get a chance to tell Randi that our Impeachment Center in L.A. was part of the White Rose Coalition, a coalition which included members from CODEPINK, World Cant Wait, and other groups, and which planned the Rose Parade action (it took weeks of planning). Several hundred of us came together in a protest at the Rose Parade in Pasadena on New Year's Day. We protested on the street, some costumed in Bush, Cheney, 'Condi', and 'Rummy' heads and prison outfits, some wearing orange jumpsuits with black bags over their heads like prisoners at Guantanamo, some wearing Revolutionary costumes in the spirit of 1776. There were a lot of creative people involved! Some people in the coalition also managed to get "IMPEACH" signs picked up by the cameras in the national broadcast of the parade by sneaking onto the street in the right spot. At the end, for the benefit of the huge crowd there-- though not unfortunately seen by the viewers at home--we followed the parade with an Impeachment Procession of our own, a number of people helping to carry a giant 'We the People' Preamble to the Constitution (which I think is available for rental from the Backbone Campaign.)

The mainstream media does such a good job at making propaganda fashionable that the credulous keep the most important secrets from themselves through ridicule. That's why I try to encourage people to do their own research and not trust anything that the corporate media says. The corporate media's agendas are always for corporate interests. Period. In 64 AD, Nero did the same thing just before the fall of the Holy Roman Empire. He eventually ordered his Centurians to set arson fires in over two thirds of Rome and blamed it on the Christians. He offered the frightened Romans protection from the Christian "terrorists" and became Caesar. In 1933 Hitler ordered the SS to burn down the Reichsteig and blamed it on the Jews. He offered the frightened Germans protection from the Jewish "terrorist" and became Chancellor. In 2001 the Massad was assisted by elements in the Bush administration to crash remote controlled airliners into the World Trade Towers and demolish them with thermite controlled demolition. Bush offered the frightened American public protection from the Muslum "terrorists" and became America's first fascist Dictator.
When people fail to learn from history the "elite" will always plagiarize it. Works every time. Except this time. Forgive me for sounding vulgar but Bush has become such a swaggering piece of excrement that he is now a liability to the elite. Considering Bush's dismal credibillity factor, who can be certain that Osama Bin Laden ever had anything to do with 9/11? There is circumstantial evidence which suggests that he died over 6 years ago. Imagine the paranoia of innocent Iranian citizens, women, children, grandparents who only ask to be left alone yet they must now deal with the fear of a international murderous sociopath. Forget about impeachment. Emergency criminal hearings investigations of Cheney/Bush are now mandatory before the next false flag tragedy occurs. One could almost feel ashamed for George Walker Bush's father. Almost.
I agree that we need to wake up
Impeachment might be the best way to occupy this batch of criminals so that they will not be able to carry-off anymore false flag attacks. Obviously, the fact that the American people have fallen for the 9ll attack to a large degree is troubling. Are the American people completely without empathy for people under our bombs? That is truly a sad commentary on our country. On the other hand, there is a lot of dissent against this criminal war, torture, and inhumanity.

Rep. Conyers Wants to Talk...or Sing?
Rep. John Conyers, MI, represents a district in the Detroit area. Until a federal census caused its restructuring, it was the most heavily populated Arab-American population in the U.S. Yesterday, Rep. Conyers called Randi Rhodes, "just to chat."
Other communication related to Michigan yesterday: Former MI Congressman Mark Siljander (1981-87) from the Kalamazoo, MI area, was indicted for money laundering and other charges related to moving money from the "Islamic American Relief Agency" to "an al-Quaida and Taliban supporter."
Conclusion: There may be some scared people in Michigan now. And maybe we should pay attention as to who is burning the telephone wires with "Chatty Cathy" talk.
People who talked as if they could hear voters and respond to their concerns...turned out that they were all about run-rabbit-run, and "I know I look as if I have something to fear." Perhaps those fearful elected officials (and there are many of them) might be studied much more closely. They may be seeking a good listener and have ever so much to say, as to their fears about now. This may be a clue as to the direction Congress and Washington senses the people are taking!

It seems to me that the CIA was one of al Qaida's chief supporters at one time. Has al CIAda changed its allegiance? Apparently so. But one has to wonder if the above might just be another Bush crime family trumped up charge.

4Peace, you are correct. Ever since it's inseption, the CIA has embraced Nazi war criminals and you will indeed find the tenacles of the Bush crime family there. This could have something to do with the reason why Prescott Bush (George Walker Bush's Paternal Granfdather) was never indicted for violating the "Trading With The Enemy Act" when he continued to launder money for the Nazi's into the early 1950s.
"al Qaida" was fabricated by the CIA after the unsuccessful invasion of Afghanistan by the Soviets. They needed another "Boogyman" and someone thought that the name had a nice ring to it. It should be noted that the word "Al-Qaeda" is a slang used in different Arab countries for the "toilet bowl". One has to wonder why any legitimate Islamic organization would choose a name that is synonymous with a "toilet". Wouldn't suprise me to find the tenacles of the Bush crime family there too. As I said before, George Walker Bush is the piece of excrement that won't flush away. No matter how hard his "handlers" try, no one can polish a turd.

As if it wasn't the most important thing to deal with. A real waste of space, that guy. I knew he was no good when it surfaced that he was using his 'official' staff as a baby-sitting service.
