GET READY TO STRIKE!

The International Longshore and Warehouse Workers Union has scheduled a shutdown of ports in LA, Houston and New Jersey this May Day. We are declaring days of national solidarity throughout North Carolina.

In Durham, NC we’ll assemble at the NC Mutual Building on Chapel Hill Street at 4:30PM for a press conference at NC 4th District Congressman David Price’s office, to declare our repudiation of the Bush/Cheney administration’s crimes past, present and future. After the press conference we’ll march the downtown loop in Durham.

Bush and Cheney have declared 800 years of law invalid. They have revoked habeas corpus and called for legalized torture. They have committed fraud against the people of the United States. They stand accused of crimes against the peace, crimes against humanity and war crimes. They threaten a new war against Iran. The forecast is for another monstrous crime. Americans must rise up and impeach and arrest these warmongers. We can do it.

We need to mobilize in every Congressional District. If our representatives refuse to fulfill their Constitutional duty to impeach Bush and Cheney, they will condemn themselves to being tarred and feathered by a just history of these times.
