PS: Here's a description of the Statehood Action Forum at UDC as
announced by Head-Roc...
"All in the DC Metro area are invited to experience this high-energy,
multi-faceted and multi-media assault on institutionalized mechanisms of
division and suppression. Capitol Resistance offers, via hip-hop
performance and history, an outreach method and challenge to People of
Culture to assertively organize so that we may develop a world in our
making. Its "mixtape" feel is designed to recapture that element of
hip-hop – the mixtape as the culture's original mass medium – to affirm
our right to take without sanction the space needed to communicate
dissident thought and to offer space for that thought to become
organized political movement in Washington, DC!"
