Court Jesters

It is such a sad commentary on our 'democracy' that one needs to watch a comedy show to actually get a discussion of a few of the Administration's crimes.

Fr. Carl Kabat, Greg Boetje-Obed and Michael Walli received 8-15 months each for breaking into a North Dakota nuclear missle site, painting "Disarm" on the silo door and hitting it with a hammer. The silo is built to withstand a near direct hit from a nuclear weapon, so the chance of it being actually damaged from their demonstration is laughable.

The other laughable thing is that they were dressed as clowns because in medieval times the court jester was the only one allowed to speak the truth about the king just as John Stewart and Keith Olberman are allowed to speak some truth as long as it is mixed in with comedy.

Jon Stewart gave the interview almost 20 minutes which is unheard of for depth in grilling an Administration official. It is unfortunate that he did not bring up some of the evidence such as the Downing Street Memo which showed that they were lying to us.

I also would appreciate someone somewhere asking these officials who took us to war, why there was no response to Congressman Henry Waxman's letter of March 17, 2003, two days before the war. The letter cited the complete exposure of the lie about the uranium from Africa contained in the State of the Union speech and asked the President to explain himself and his actions taking us into a war based on an untruth.

He is one of the PNAC Neocon crooks (Cheney ,Rumsfeld etc) that linked IRAQ with Alqueada and the WMD story since the CIA did not find any avidence of it, for making the case for war with Iraq and now Iran.
They gave Colin Powell all the "evidence" for the case at the UN incluiding the ANTHRAX wich recently the History Channel revealed it was an inside job.

A marvellous job of exposing Feith's self-serving analyses. He is yet another neocon heading back under his rock to await another day when he will perform more mischief. "Mischief" hardly describes the chaos and catastrophe which this man was instrumental in creating. He cannot escape responsibility for the deaths and the maiming of our troops and Iraqi citizens. He should be ashamed.
