State and Local Prosecutors Can Prosecute Bush and Co-Conspirators for Murder

Former prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi's book "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder" makes a case that state and local prosecutors have the necessary jurisdiction to try Bush for murder and for conspiracy to commit murder.

Here's a site where you can help fund delivery of this book to every prosecutor in the country. This has now been done!

THE BASIC ARGUMENT:
By sending troops into war on false pretenses rather than in self-defense, Bush was knowingly and needlessly condemning some of them to death. The Iraqis who killed those soldiers in predictable and legally justifiable defense of their country fall into the legal category of "third-party innocent agent." This does not mean they are innocent, but rather that their actions do nothing to lessen Bush's guilt. In addition, Bugliosi argues, Bush could be found guilty of murder under the rule of "aiding and abetting," because he instigated the killing of American soldiers by ordering the invasion of Iraq.

WHO CAN DO IT:
A state attorney general or any of some 2,700 prosecutors in any city or county could bring a murder charge against Bush for any soldiers from that jurisdiction who lost their lives in Iraq. And not just Bush, but Cheney, Rice, et alia. Bugliosi is willing, if requested, to consult with any prosecutor who decides to prosecute Bush in preparation of cross-examination questions for him to face on the witness stand.

ConvictBushCheney.org has consulted with Bugliosi and learned that, while he much prefers prosecuting for murder, a prosecution for attempted murder would be justified by an argument paralleling that in his book, and Iraq War veterans are victims of attempted murder.

We need to identify jurisdictions where we know gold star families (families who lost members in Iraq) who want to be part of a prosecution, jurisdictions where we know Iraq veterans who want to be part of a prosecution, jurisdictions where candidates for the office of prosecutor include this proposal in their platform, and jurisdictions where the current prosecutor wants to begin a prosecution.
