Lies and Arrogance Killed My Nephew
By PATRICK V. FARROW
Because of the arrogant, corrupt lies of George W. Bush and his neocon handlers my nephew is dead, and I am mad as hell. My nephew, my sister's son, died in Iraq a few days before this Memorial Day.
Jason Dene was not killed by enemy fire nor friendly fire but by Bush's brutal and cynical stop-loss program.
Jason grew up in Orwell and Rutland. He was in his mid-30s, a career Army officer due retire next month. His wife and children were planning his homecoming.
Because of Bush's abusive stop-loss policy, Jason had been sent into an unwanted third tour of duty. He was a father of three and could not afford to lose his pension. Some "volunteer Army".
During his three 15-month tours in Iraq, exposure to roadside bombs and other job-related injuries caused Jason to be hospitalized several times for concussion and internal bleeding and other injuries. Recently, Jason's condition was such that the Department of Defense flew him from Iraq to Dover Air Force Base for surgery. He was released from the hospital into the loving arms of the government who sent him directly back into Iraq. He was put on active duty while he was still on a liquid diet, unable to eat solid food because of a throat hemorrhage due to a botched surgery at a military hospital.
To date all the family has heard from the Army is that Jason variously died "in his sleep" and "in his bunk" and "in his quarters" and my favorite "sleep apnea complicated by smoking cigarettes," in other words, natural causes.
After his second tour Jason returned home with severe mental and physical issues. He was certainly in no condition to be pressed into a third tour. He wanted out of the army. But Jason was a victim of the liar's back-door draft.
The administration knows the war could not continue if the draft was reinstated, hence the criminally deceptive stop-loss program. At all costs, the administration wants to avoid Vietnam-scale student protests. In this case the cost fell on Jason, whose death will not be included as a war casualty. Jason Dene will not be buried at Arlington National Cemetery; he will just sort of ... disappear quietly (they hope).
How many others have died in Iraq of "natural causes," the soldiers we will never hear about?
Because of George Bush, the arrogant, the corrupt, the liar, the war criminal, my nephew is dead and my sister and the rest of my family are devastated.
Yes, I am very, very angry. How would you feel?

How would I feel?
I would feel every negative emotion there is to feel. I would feel betrayed by a government that does not give one damn about me or my children, by a nation that is afraid like the good Germans of old and by religious leaders that choose lies over truth. I would feel that our country is being led by criminals and we are all too afraid to speak up. Those who do speak up go to jail rather than the criminals.

What for?
We have just learned that my nephew, Sgt. Jason Dene, died in Iraq yesterday
His mother is my sister, Tisa Farrow. His dad is Terry Deane.
That post was very early on the morning of Memorial Day, above it and a few hours later she gives the URL of his battalions photo page from Iraq.

Didn't know. Good stuff on her blog. Sorry for all of us.
Bush Guilty of Murder?
George W. Guilty of Murder?
A prominent lawyer lays out a compelling case in THE PROSECUTION OF GEORGE W. BUSH FOR MURDER. Staggering evidence is collected against the president in a startling new book.

Our deceased soldiers may have been murder victims of George W. Bush in Iraq as noted by prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi in his book "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder", and as he explains in his YouTube video link attached above.
On behalf of our deceased soldiers who lost their lives in Iraq, concerned citizens all across the nation can petition their respective State Attorney Generals' and local District Attorneys' to conduct murder investigations, and if warranted, indict and prosecute George W. Bush on murder charges.

That, sir, is very touching. I am going to share your blog with my friends and family. I am caught in a quagmire here in Ohio surrounded by "old school" republicans who are confined to the news media because they hate computer and the internet. I have served and I was drafted (1967). I just cannot tell you how much what you have written means to me.
I am so angry on your part and I could write forever about how true your blog is.
Thank you,
EW
Lies and Arrogance Killed My Nephew
Dear Writer,
I was reading your story and had to fight to hold back the tears. And, my stomach quenched with anger. This young brave man dying because we have an idiot in the white house. Bush needs to be over there fighting his own war. This is not America's war this is a Bush vindetta. I send my symphathy and heartfelt wishes to this young man's family.
WE AS AMERICAN PEOPLE NEED TO PROTEST THIS "BUSH REGIME". THIS MAN HAS LIED ABOUT THIS WAR FROM DAY ONE. AND YOUNG INNOCENT LIVES ARE AT RISK. THIS YOUNG BRAVE MAN IS A HERO AND SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED AS A HERO. HE IS AN AMERICAN HERO. BUSH ON THE OTHER HAND IS A FAILURE. HE HAS FAILED THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND HAS CORRUPTED ONE OF THE HIGHEST OFFICES HELD IN THE COUNTRY.
I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
MARCIA
I am sorry for your loss but
I am sorry for your loss but to say that our president killed your nephew who VOLUNTEERED to serve our country is illogical. Anyone who goes into a branch of the armed service knows that there is a chance that they will die. How about you honor your nephew by realizing that he faught and died for his and your country. Grieve for him but be proud that he served his country in more ways than most people ever will.
Feelings of remorse for your loss
Serving during the Vietnam era, I can feel for your loss. Many a good friend, and close acquaintance fell during the war. I will admit that the military does not have much of a heart as to personal issues. I will say that when I served, the military doctors had the final say whether a person was ready to go back into a war zone. Part of the evaluation was asking the military person if they felt they were ready for going back to duty. This is where the decision was probably made by the now passed away officer. He probably did not want to go back, but probably stated he was healthy enough to go back if required to. Sometimes duty and honor come before ones personal feelings in a man's mind. If he felt the people in the war zone needed him, he could have decided to go back. I call this person a hero and will give a military salute to this fallen hero.
Blame Satan, not Bush for the situation in the Middle East!
I pray, now that I am a Minister of God, that somewhere along the way this officer accepted Jesus and was reborn again. If so, he is now with the Lord / God.
Lies and arrogance
I am truly sorry for your loss, this is another example of our government exploiting the poor and middle-class for the enrichment of the rich and big buisness.
One day in the not-too-distant future, those in power will pay a hefty price for their crimes.
