Memo to Arianna: Radical Right Wing Destruction of Basic Rights Is Not Centrist

I appreciate your giving Obama some good advice but you hurt yourself by calling what you oppose "the Middle." There's nothing middle about backing NAFTA, or tossing out our Bill of Rights, or refusing single-payer health coverage, or opposing the complete withdrawl from illegal foreign occupations, or refusing to forswear the use of aggressive nuclear war, or sitting back while Bush establishes dictatorship.
