SPY ON THEM

That lying piece of ---- Jim Webb who we all worked to get elected has only one redeeming characteristic. He is not George Allen. To think that skunk would give immunity for unknown crimes -- WTF! We don't even know what they did and we are supposed to absolve them of guilt. That is truly unbelievable.

They have betrayed their oath of office and the American people with this crime that they call a law.

As of this day, I am finished with futile attempts to contact people who tax us, but give us no representation. Obama has shown himself to be another corporate stooge. I am dropping out. I am going to do my own work, and move to another country within the next four years. This will soon be a terrible place to live. As a young child, I heard of Nazi horrors from my WW II parents and family. I never dreamed it would awaken in the United States.

I have fought for impeachment, against torture, FISA, and for restoration of civil rights. Nothing has changed. The entire governing body needs replacing for anything to change, and it isn't happening. After years of work for this once great nation, I am finished.

Congress, with the exception of Dennis Kucinich and a few others has united both parties. We live under a one-party system. Thanks to Congress' unending violation of our constition, the next president holds the power of a king.

Congress has sold us out. Obama's new warmongering rhetoric towards Iran started the day after securing the nomination. Today's support of the totaltarian FISA bill is just a continuation of Bush's dictatorship with slightly different language. We have lost our country; it is being destroyed by the vandals within.

We have become the enemy we once fought. Invading small countries to enrich and empower special interests proves our leaders are bullies and thieves. They pose a threat to the safety of the entire world, much as an empowered Nazi Germany once did. If they keep it up, we may well be the target for WW III.

FISA uses military spy equipment that looks through walls into our bedrooms and basements, developed for use on our enemies. The people are now treated as the enemy.There was one story about the FISA debacle before it was suppressed. Go to The Washington Post website. Look up an article published August 17, 2007 by Joby Warrick. They are using secret overhead imagery on all of us. The data is "shared with local law enforcement." What will happen to people like us who rightfully oppose and protest totalitarian rule? Remember the US attorneys who were fired by the bushies? The congress did nothing...again.

I drew up a petition demanding congress repeal the FISA law. It was passed in a hurry so congress could go on vacation. Some wouldn't sign fearing reprisal. We sent it to our congress person, nothing happened.

Blackwater troops have been quietly quartered in every state of this nation with no mention in the press. We protested and kept them out of California; a month later they got in by useing a different corporate name. My senator told me it is a state issue, so we have no way to throw them out. As a historian, I assure you foreign or mercenary troops are always brought it to protect the oppressors, not the oppressed. If people protest this New World Order, Blackwater will be turned on us, just like the spy equipment.

We pay Blackwater troops enormous salaries while our soldier's families struggle on foodstamps. Blackwater troops answer to nobody but the president. They are lawless cowboys who terrorize and slaughter Iraq citizens. They are being hired by corporations around the world. The fastest growing army for hire in the modern world. They cannot be charged in military or civil court. They are above the law, just like the president and Congress.

Google "Brownshirts" if your knowledge of Hitler's rise needs refreshing. Ironic the same players are now called Blackwater.

Yesterday, a 60 year-old librarian was ticketed for trespassing in a public area that was holding a McCain event. She was holding a sign reading "McCain = Bush" and was escorted off public property with threats of arrest. For holding a sign? This repressive behavior started with Bush, and is continuing.

People who protest the wars can be stripped of their properties and money and jailed as an enemy of the people with NO RECOURSE according to an executive order by Bush. When it was executed, many of us did the usual, called, petitioned, wrote....no response from Congress. Enemies of the people are locked away and tortured, often for years. No lawyers, courts or rules of law...only the rule of evil men.

The most destructive and corrupt administration in modern history has destroyed our constitution, revoked all our rights including habeas corpus (a right of man since 1115) and spied on us without oversight or constraint. The rule of law has been destroyed. The congress does nothing to change it; they enable the Bush administration. They beat Iran war drums ignoring the will of the people.

There was a bill passed giving the president power to dissolve congress in event of a national emergency. Throughout history, every king or ruler has acted when given such power.

I was feeling a short-term hope with Obama's rise to the nomination, but no longer. America stands at a serious crossroad. People are desperate.

The mortgage meltdown is the largest redistribution of wealth in history. The same criminals who once lead Bear-Stearns, New Century, etc. are now out buying the same homes they financed with pennies on the dollar. Congress has even passed a law giving buyers of foreclosed homes a tax break. Not one thing for the struggling homeowners.

The bush administration has managed to drive a deep wedge of consciousness between rich and poor. The sense of equality we once had is gone. This used to be a nation of hope, but no longer. Wages are falling, prices are rising. The gasoline debacle is putting truckers out of business at the rate of 1200 companies a week. Right now, 800 homes a day are being lost to foreclosure in California alone.

The FISA bill is one I have fought tooth and nail since August of 2007. It has come to nothing, and we are sold out for good. As it stands, there won't be hearings to find out the extent of the criminal evesdropping by this evil, degenerate administration. Once again, the criminals win.

I am done. I am no longer going to butt my head against a stone wall. I will leave this country because I love it too much to stay and watch it die under totalitarian rule.

I know I'm not smart enough to do it, but I've often wondered why some of the genius hackers out there haven't started spying back on all of them. The Chinese did it...why can't some of our guys or gals figure it out? Wouldn't they be justified in conducting their own warrantless searches of the computer systems of the biggest war criminals this country has ever known? I would so love to know what Bush and Cheney have on Pelosi and Hoyer. I would so love to know what deals they've worked out with Republicans who are apparently going to be loyal to the death. Wouldn't it be wonderful to know what kind of underhanded deals that slime bag excuse of an Attorney General Mukasey has made with Bush? Oh to be a fly on the wall....

Why is everyone in such a snit about the Telecoms getting immunity. Do all 235,000,000 people in the US really think they were being spied on, I think not, and of the ones that were do you really think you could
EVER win a LAWSUIT against Viacom, ATT, etc. The people of ALASKA have been trying to get money from EXXON for 20+ years and haven't seen a penny. The compromise bill from what I understand does indeed get the FISA court re-involved in the mix, and a few more controls than it would have had otherwise, including the possibility for CRIMINAL lawsuits down the road. Getting the right candidate in the White House (Obama in my humble opinion) is critical and there will be another session of Congress next year that should have a much better chance of ending all this crap. DON'T LET THE MEDIA MANIPULATE YOU GIVE UP ON THE TV AND NEWSPAPER AND EXPLORE THE INTERNETS hehehe, LEARN ALL THREE SIDES OF THE STORY, AND YOU WILL MOST LIKELY FIND THE RIGHT ONE.

I don't pretend to know everything about FISA, so forgive me if my answer isn't exactly on point.

Obama said, when asked by a supporter after a rally in Fairfax, VA, he voted for this latest piece of legislation because it places the courts in a more powerful position than the president. He doesn't trust the president to hold himself accountable for what he's doing with wire-tapping, and this bill puts the decisions and power with someone OTHER than the president.

When he gets into office, he wants to get rid of it completely.

This is simply what I heard him say, I can't find any written proof of it.

Oh my god. Why? Why would so many people support such a terrible thing?
