Bush Is NOT Complying With Supreme Court's Restoration of Habeas Corpus
Nobody seemed willing to realize this would happen during the euphoria of the decision. I tried to point it out and go nowhere. But Cheney-Bush-Mukasey Inc. is NOT complying.
Look at this new statement from CCR:
In response to leaked portions of Attorney General Michael Mukasey’s speech to be delivered this morning, Center for Constitutional Rights Executive Director Vincent Warren issued the following statement:
“What Mukasey is doing is a shocking attempt to drag us into years of further legal challenges and delays. The Supreme Court has definitively spoken, and there is no need for congressional intervention. The Supreme Court explicitly said in Boumediene that the two prior attempts by Congress to intervene to prevent detainees from having access to the courts were unconstitutional.
“For six and a half years, Congress and the Bush Administration have done their level best to prevent the courts from reviewing the legality of the detention of the men in Guantanamo. Congress should be a part of the solution this time by letting the courts do their job.
“The strength of this country rests on our willingness to embrace a system of justice, to allow courts to consider the facts and interpret the law. As the most senior lawyer in the government, the Attorney General should allow justice at long last to proceed.”
I'm SHOCKED, SHOCKED!

ARREST THIS TREASON
Not only that but..............
I heard some former white house lawyer "debating" Alex Jones the other day on some BBC hit piece style interview and this guy had the nerve to say that he couldn't speak to what Alex was saying about this subject because he "wasn't familiar with any cases where the supreme court had NOT upheld the White House's positions when it comes to the "War on Terror!"" And then quickly proceeded on about how absurd Alex sounds when he goes off basicaly. And how it's normal for a president to have absolute power in a time of war. How Bush isn't doing anything different than any other president has. "It's nothing more than executive orders.... All presidents have issued executive orders.... this is nothing new." And how silly it is for people like Alex to get all bent out of shape about losing freedoms like Habeus Corpus... and a trial. He never really answered any questions that's for damn sure.
"Your Doin a heckofa job here Chief Justice Brownie!........ Now, Get out my........ eeerasor............. HEH HEH HEH"
