URGENT CALL TO ACTION - "RELAY LOBBYING" IN D.C.
On September 8th the House is back in session - maybe for the last time this year. Democrats.com, AfterDowningStreet.org, Veterans For Peace, and the National Impeachment Network invite as many people as possible to come to D.C. and help us lobby congressional members for impeachment. We hope to have "relay" teams in place so there are always organizers present up through at least September 24th or when Congress adjourns for the year. In addition, there will be scheduled events that you won't want to miss.

An Exercise In Futility!
Exactly how are you going to convince these criminals to impeach their leader? Appeal to their conscience, appeal to the constitution, appeal to the rule of law? Are you going to promise to help finance their reelection? Do you think you can out spend the corporate interests that have unlimited funds? Exactly what leverage are you planing to use to convince these criminals to impeach their leader?
You have no leverage against these criminals except your vote! Stop wasting your time trying to convince a criminal to obey the law and start throwing them out of office! The only leverage we have on these scumbags is our vote and financial support. If you want to send them a message they will understand support and vote for their opponents. The only way you can change Washington is to change the people in Washington. Vote for and support independents and third parety candidates and to hell with every Democrat and Republican on the face of the earth!

Green Party of Virginia Rejects Call For Coalition with Independent Greens of Virginia
The Green Party of Virginia (GPVA) and its affiliated national-level organization, the Green Party of the United States (GPUS), state for the
record that their leadership has never contacted or been contacted by the group calling itself the "Independent Greens of Virginia (IGV)" regarding a possible coalition, despite the statement to that effect in their recent press release ("Independent Greens seek broad third-party coalition behind Bloomberg-Paul", 8/21/2008).
"You would think that the IGV would have better things to do, like work on their own party plan, bylaws, and central committee", said Chris Fink, Co-Chair of GPVA. "This identity-challenged group of conflicting single-issue proponents can't even get their own history straight, short as it is. I guess it's no wonder they can't get ahead without continually trying to falsely identify themselves with other organizations."
GPVA successfully submitted its ballot access petitions on Friday, August 22, for the GPUS presidential nominee, Cynthia McKinney, and has no plans to join in coalitions with other electoral groups.

I think this is great and YOU are great, all those who aren't letting the impeachment issue die. Politicians and media are HOPING we forget this issue in the hooplah over Obama/McCain. (You're right, they're ignoring the Greens, etc. and we should all be fighting the media over that). But right is right and if government is to work, we as citizens have to MAKE it work. LET's GO TO WASHINGTON AND SHOW WE CARE!

All members of congress, ALL have jerked the citizens around on impeachment. ALL members of congress are aware of the violations of the constitution and not one of the members of congress has put the maximum amount of effort they could into pushing for impeachment shame on EVERY member of congress.

We are living in a dying republic
It is sad to see our country so far gone that we have to beg our legislators to enforce and obey the law. The rot is so bad at the top that I do not foresee our making inroads on impeachment. Plus you have to admit that a lot of the American public has totally drunk the koolaide. Our only hope is that the Chimp and his puppeteer will be held accountable by the law. Is it possible? Who knows.
