Bush-McCain Pleased with Barack Obama
Bush-McCain Pleased with Barack Obama

Frederick Douglass said it best. If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Stated another way, Experience is the best teacher. To understand the political mechanics of this country, a person must have been involved in political struggle. Dr. Leonard Jeffries says it requires knowledge of systems analysis. A political system ensures the maintenance of the status quo. Similarly, this is also the objective of economic and legal systems.
Sen. Barack Obama is giving us an example of a political system operating on all eight cylinders. This is the interplay of revisionisms and fallacies. It means that a criminal conspiracy, which has been running amuck in this country for the past eight years, has now been attributed to bad policy. In other words, Obama sanitized Bush 43 and also his sidekick, Sen. John McCain, in his acceptance speech on August 28. These men should be facing articles of impeachment or criminal indictments. This is like reducing a criminal case to a civil
dispute.
We just saw it in the Sean Bell case. In a bench trial, Justice Arthur Cooperman found no criminal liability. The U.S. Justice Department, in collaboration with former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, will find no civil rights violations. These police assassins, enjoying indemnity, can live with a civil settlement. Obama saw fit to absolve Bush-McCain of any criminal responsibility. In delivering his acceptance speech, Obamas tone went from bass to soprano. His dispute with Bush-McCain has gone from a criminal complaint to a civil dispute.
In December 1986, a car driven by a court officer struck down Michael Griffith in Howard Beach. A white mob was in hot pursuit. In the absence of any HNIC securing control of the Howard Beach struggle, Gov. Mario Cuomo had to appoint the first special prosecutor in a racially motivated case. Cedric Sandiford, who was also a subject of the chase, said that the car was also chasing him. The police version was that Griffith died from a car accident. Special Prosecutor Charles Hynes, afterwards, directly linked only the white mob to Griffith's death. As the attorney for Cedric Sandiford, I had no reason to refuse to support his claim. Thus, when I repeated my clients grievance, law enforcement officials sued me for defamation. Moreover, Black leadership sided with Hynes. A criminal prosecution would be aimed only at the white mob. Law enforcement had to remain blameless.
Compare Obama's acceptance speech. This means that either Cong. Dennis Kucinich is lying or Obama was throwing a softball to conventioneers on August 28. Kucinich has filed articles of impeachment against George W. Bush, with Cong. Nancy Pelosi acting as a Bush-McCain watchdog. Only two presidents have had to face articles of impeachment. In the case of Pres. Bill Clinton, the articles of impeachment arose out of his use of the White House as a whorehouse. Bush and McCain, on the other hand, have screwed the country.
In my book, it takes more courage to file articles of impeachment against Bush than it does to make an acceptance speech that shields Bush-McCain from impeachable offenses or charges of conducting a criminal enterprise. While giving Obama the green light, Cong. Nancy Pelosi gave Kucinich the red light or else.
It is unconstitutional for the Justice Department to demand that its attorneys must employ a racist agenda. Monica Goodling is the architect. This means that Justice Department attorneys will exercise prosecutorial discretion in favor of law enforcement agencies, white mobs in addition to Levi Johnston, future son-in-law of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and against Black victims.
For the past eight years, the Bush administration has been illegally stockpiling racist attorneys in the Justice Department coupled with nominating reactionary judges for lifetime appointments on the federal bench. These attorneys enjoy civil service status. Thus, Obama will only be able to place a fresh face over a foul wound.
The next four years are going to be tough for Blacks. Bush-McCain have already set Obama's table while Obama is using his oratorical skills to remove the stench surrounding Bush-McCain. Blacks will suffer if Obama is afraid to vacuum the Justice Department before Election Day. 2009 will be a replay of 1877. The preacher from Georgia has a name. The names of Emmett Till and Rosa Parks were missing from Obama's speech. When a Black presidential nominee is afraid to publicly call the name of Dr. Martin L.King Jr. on August 28, 2008,45 years after the 1963 march on Washington, Blacks are in big trouble.
Even McCain, who opposed Dr. King tooth and nail, is not afraid to refer to him by name. This omission of Dr. King's name during Obama's acceptance speech was an act of political cowardice and it is a preview of things to come if he is given a four-year lease on the White House. Descendants of enslaved Africans have obviously been dubbed the silent minority. The 2008 platform of the Democratic Party lists the groups that can expect its protection under civil rights laws. The list specifically includes women, Asian Americans, Latinos, Pacific Islanders, disabled Americans, Native Hawaiians, Native Indians, and Native Alaskans. No Blacks need apply. Although Blacks made up more than a quarter of the delegates, no one had the courage to speak up for them in Denver. This was political presence and not political representation. It is a microcosm of our plight in government.
The Establishment has learned that Black faces in high places will do the trick. We adhere to plantation politics. Sadly, August 28, 2008, will go down in history as the date Blacks traded-in Dr. King for Obama. This trade is worse than the one Indians made in securing trinkets for the sale of Manhattan. It is reminiscent of the Compromise of 1877. Blacks in the United States have a history of honoring and celebrating firsts. Obama is the first Black presidential nominee of a major political party in the United States. If he is successful on Election Day, he will become the first person of African ancestry to secure a four-year lease on the White House. Jim Crow signs will take a hike.
Obama won the Iowa caucus. Afterwards, Sen. Hillary Clinton won the New Hampshire primary. His goose would have been cooked if Blacks in South Carolina had chosen Clinton. South Carolina was Rev. Jesse Jackson's home state and he is its favorite son. Obama returned to Iowa to thank his supporters. He not only has refused to return to South Carolina to give thanks to the Black voters but he also made sure that Jackson would not enjoy a prominent role in Denver. This is another example of disrespect and it is a reason why Blacks continue to be shortchanged politically.
McCain had a sinister reason for being in Ohio on his birthday. His birthday present from Ohio is expected to be delayed until November 4. The voting machines in Ohio are unreliable and easily subject to political manipulation. Historically, Ohio has swung presidential elections. In the meantime, Black selected officials and self-appointed spokespersons have refused to nationalize and mobilize a legal defense commission to combat Jim Crow at ballot boxes throughout the United States on Election Day. This is political malpractice. This country is divided.
If Obama intends to use the medicine he prescribed on August 28, the residents of this country will still continue to suffer from medical malpractice by another medical quack. Only the truth will set this nation free. The treatment of these racial and class wounds call for more than a Band-Aid. Obama must speak truth to power.

Babylon!
In Revelation God calls on his people to come out of Babylon; Babylon being the false religions of the world. The Republican and Democratic political partys are America's Babylon in that they both have betrayed the Constitution and the very principles of democracy which this country was founded on.
It is time for freedom loving people of America to come out of babylon and to leave the apostate Republican and Democratic parties. There is no longer any truth or virture in either party.
What in God's name is Ron Paul doing in the Republican Party, ditto Dennis Kucinich and the Democrats. Both of these fine men are being compromised by their membership in these corrupt political partys. Just look at Kucincih's speech at the Democratic Convention; a video of it was posted here at afterdowningstreet.org several days ago; I have to admit I did not watch the whole disgusting thing, I did not know what I would do with all the vomit! And then there is Ron Paul, Mister constitution, whose silence on impeachment and the crimes of Bush and Cheney is deafening. These men are being compromised by their continued presence in the Republican and Democratic partys! It is time for them and all others who value the Constitution and democracy to leave. Both of these party are beyond redemption and reformation.
I suppose it is too late for this election for Paul and Kucinich to change party affiliation, but when it is over I chalenge both to leave the Republican and Democratic Partys and declare themselves independents or align themselve with a third party that still values democracy.
That goes for the rest of us too; come out of Babylon, that scarlet whore with hands dripping with the blood of millions of innocent people.
There's change, and then there's more of the same chaos
After being "introduced" to Sarah Palin ( *gag* ), I have decided that voting for change, any kind of change, ain't half bad over more of the same CHAOS!!!
CONVICT BUSHCO & RICO PNAC/AIPAC...PNAC is Bush/Cheney's "Helter Skelter" !
WE MUST DEFEAT MCCAIN!!!
What Change?
Have we learned nothing in the last two years? Have we learned nothing in the last eight years? The Democratic leadership supported Bush and his war mongering every stewp of the way! Obama was not in the Senate at the begining of the Iraq War, which he opposed. Since becoming a Senator he has voted to continue funding the war? Biden is just as big a war monger as Bush and McCain. Obama and Biden have both sold out to AIPAC. What change are you talking about?
Vote for the lesser of two evils, then bend over, spread your butt cheeks and brace yourself for the next round of being screwed by the Democrats!
at802
Right on--EXACTLY right!!! If anyone--ANY ONE!--on this or any other "Progressive" website pushes a (stolen) button for Obama out of fear of McCain, then they have no more business whining and wailing about same old/same old.
The lesser of two evils is NO LONGER a legitimate excuse for nose-holding. Get shit-faced if you have to but vote for someone who has NO CHANCE to win but speaks to you as nearly as possible. Technically, THAT is what voting is SUPPOSED to be about before FEAR was introduced into the equation!
Change
I agree with you, somebody has to make a decision and voting for a 3rd party is not an option because there is not enough support. So what do we do? We decide who is the best choice that closely matches our beliefs and vote for them. There are many of us that don't like things done in either party put politics are a compromise, some people would say abstain or vote for somebody that hasn't got a chance in hell of winning. Progress takes time, and time it will take to take our government back. BUT we must absolutely keep people like McCain out of office because he is only catering to the far right and that would be one more step we would have to take towards getting Bush prosecuted for crimes.
The Constitution and the Political Parties
I think that adherence to the Constitution will bring the Country together. The real Sin of the Bush-Cheney Administration was to forego the Constitution in light of the methods used by world terrorist groups and their methods became more and more Fascist which is a State that is worse than World Terrorism! The U.S. was plunged into 8 miserable years of wars, sleepless nights caused by the lack of Statesmanship and Diplomacy at the Helm and with the Fascist Style military force being used to solve problems that could have been handled diplomatically! Bush actually created the greatest problem that a Democratic Country has ever faced when he unilaterally decided to invade Iraq. No Democratic Country up to this point had ever been the Aggressor in invading another sovereign nation and we have paid a tremendous price in precious lives and monetarially! The last thing that this Country needs is another man who desires to be Commander-in-Chief rather than a Talented Diplomat and Statesman. Compare the 8 years of the Clinton Administration that were years of Peace, prosperity, economic growth, and a real feeing of goodwill where a Democratic President and a Voting Majority Republican Congress were the most productive Congress in History with 8 years of the Bush Administration! From Budget Surplus to Record Deficits, from Peace and Prosperity to wars and disastrous economic decline, From goodwill and togetherness to fear and gridlock!
The real cure that the Republicans DO NOT want the voters to see and mock every image that indicates it is the reception by the world leaders of Barack Obama-The King of Jordan came home from vacation to greet Obama and personally drove him to the Airport. Obama believes in Negotiating with both enemies and friends and respects their leaders and gets respect in return! How different from Bush and McCain who mocked the former French President and refer to Enemy States as "Axis of Evil!" The World will cheer when Bush-Cheney leave office!!!!
