Nadler Tells Holder He's Required to Prosecute

Dear Congressmen Nadler,

I commend you on you demanding accountability on torture, and defending the victims of the 9/11 attacks. In defending the victims of 9/11, how about demanding accountability of the people who are responsible for their present condition. The George Bush administration had taken samples of the air at ground zero, and were well aware that it was unsafe for anyone to breath. In order to open Wall Street quickly they acted with disregard for the life and safety of the workers in down town Manhattan. Christy Todd Whitman stood in front of the nation and stated,
" The water is safe to drink, and the air is safe to breath. The victims deserve to have the people responsible for their being in breathing machines, cancer wads and in their graves brought to account. The children with dead fathers deserve more than a few dollars. They deserve justice.

At that point in time we should have all realized that we were dealing with a criminal, and out of control government. After lying to us about the air quality at ground zero they lied us into an illegal and unnecessary war, they brutally tortured people, scraped our constitution, spied on us, drained our treasury for personal gains, gave no bid contracts to their friends, and encouraged lawlessness on Wall Street which lead to its collapse.

Never before have we had a president more deserving of impeachment.The majority of Americans demanded impeachment, and our elected representatives, like your self, simply ignored us. We were told, "Impeachment is off the table", "We don't have the vote", and " Impeachment could hinder the Democrats chance of taking control of congress and winning the Presidency. Well, look what you fools have won,a trashed, bankrupt nation that is scorned by the world, for its lawlessness, brutality, and for the torturing, and murdering of prisoners in an unjust war.

Now you are telling us that there should be an investigation of the criminals that you allowed to commit crimes. How many people would not have been tortured if you had done your job? How many people would have not been murdered during interrogation if you had remover the criminal president from office? I wonder how things would be today if you had cared as much about your country as you did about your personal political gains, and the gains of the Democratic Party.

It is just wonderful of you to be saying that the Justice Department should investigate this mess that you allowed to happen. Thanks a lot.

Some thirty or more serious articles of impeachment were on file during the 110th Democratic Congress, the evidence against Bush/Cheney was/is monumental, yet Chairman Conyers was not convinced he should hold a single impeachment hearing and Sub-Committee Chairman Nadler sided with his Chairman, and together with House Speaker Pelosi, this trio of would be representatives took impeachment "off the table" for Bush thereby in effect nullifying the nation's Constitution and denying the American people their just due and rights. During the 111th Democratic Congress this same trio of fakers have yet to act to set the record straight, restore the rule of law, and defend and protect the Constitution. Based of their past behavior they will most likely just put in their time, pass the buck, and turn the page as quickly as possible.
