Cheney Admits Torture Saved NO Lives

Wow, Cheney is backing off to a "WMD programs" position on his "torture worked" claims, now claiming that an entire "program" that included torture worked (even though the torture part of the program actually didn't, made people hate us, led us into a catastrophic war, and violated several laws).

Cheney is making the same move on claims that Iraq was tied to al Qaeda (and therefore to blame for 9-11). Now, as with the WMDs, there was just the possibility that Iraq could have assisted in a similar attack in the future.

No doubt the war was also never in its last throws, but only entering into the possible development of a last throws program.
