CIA Head Says Cheney Almost Wishing US Be Attacked

About two to three months ago on an NPR program, possibly Diane Rehm, one of the guests said something to the effect that if there is another "Nine Eleven" incident we should not be surprised if Cheney runs for President.

The other guests were speechless: there was a gap when no one said anything. And no one replied to the statement.

It would seem impossible because of his health issues and age. But Constitutionally he can run. His ratings are going up - last I heard was 47% favorable.

Might it be one of those testing-the-waters actions by the guest?

Cheney/Bush have relied exclusively on fear and terror as their bread and butter selling points during their two terms. Their approach has worked beyond their expectations with Congress caving to their every whim, and an unsuspecting American public hood winked by their crooked words. So here comes Cheney, after leaving office, mouthing off as usual, believing his scare tactics will work once again to exonerate himself and Bush from any wrong doing. Cheney's tactics are working. Pelosi and Reid continue to block any investigating and/or prosecuting of high level Bush administration officials. Cheney's venomous words have hit their mark.
