Need to Oppose Afghan Troop Increases

If we make a concerted effort to voice opposition to the call for more

troops in Afghanistan, alert our friends and associates, notify the Media,

alert the Public, etc. then we have a chance to prevent further escalation

of the war and all that it would entail. Let us stand up against those in Think Tanks who choose to escalate war to promote their own agenda, and special interests.

This morning I received the following email regarding my latest video, Holder's Pseudo Justice. Thought I would share it, along with my response. Please feel free to copy and share.

When you say we torture , well how would you go about getting information if a Dirty Bom was ready to go off say in LA and with out the needed infromation
you need, and since you say Keeping some one up for 24 or 48 hours is torture or even waterboarding them is torture just how would realy get the information from them before it was to late. I would like to know Asshole.

Below is a Memo by Col.Timothy Reese describing, in great detail, the situation today in Iraq and the many reasons why it would be best for the United States to pull out now and bring the troops home, ahead of the timetable of the President and Generals. His arguments are clear and comprehensive. He has vast experience in Iraq and knows the pros and cons of the situation there and all the "players", on the Iraq side and the U.S. as well. He believes the Iraqi government, though filled with corruption and incompetancy, can manage to control the situation enough not to be in danger in the long run. He sees continued prescence by the U.S. as rather futile and costly, both in troop casualties and equipment and supplies.

Israel is assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists as part of a covert war against the Islamic Republic's illicit weapons program, the Daily Telegraph on Tuesday quoted Western intelligence analysts as saying.

The British daily said Israel's Mossad espionage agency was rumored to be behind the death of Ardeshire Hassanpour, a top nuclear scientist at Iran's Isfahan uranium plant, who died in mysterious circumstances from reported "gas poisoning" in 2007.

Other recent deaths of important figures in the procurement and enrichment process in Iran and Europe have been the result of Israeli "hits", intended to deprive Tehran of key technical skills at the head of the program, according to the analysts. …

Israel concerned U.S. may agree to take part in 'Durban 2'.

Officials in Jerusalem expressed concern that Israel and Barack Obama's administration are on a collision course over an expected U.S. decision to participate in "Durban 2," the second UN-sponsored World Conference Against Racism, scheduled in Geneva this April.

Israel is boycotting the conference because a declaration equating Zionism with racism is expected to be made there. In addition, it is expected that the organizers and participants will charge that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians, and, like before in Durban, will make anti-Semitic statements. …
