Restoring the U.S. Constitution

We the People...or we the sheeple?

I posted this at wtpnet.org also. I'm very concerned at the state of this country, and not just for the obvious reasons that we are all fighting against. My concern is this. Our country and our world is in an unprecedented crisis. What with the wars, the economy, escalating violence both here and abroad, the continued loss of liberties, the obvious corruption and Constitutional violations of our government, including war crimes, not to mention the continued embezzlement of money from the people by the criminal corporations.

Rejoin The International Criminal Court in The Hague

Washington, D.C. 20501

Dear President Barack Obama

Shortly after becoming president, one George W. Bush, quickly removed the signature of the United States (President Bill Clinton’s signature) from the membership rolls of the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

Soon thereafter, Bush invaded and attacked Iraq, without sanction from the United Nations Security Council, and on his totally false pretenses and on his big lies about Iraq, thereby launching a War of Aggression, his Supreme Crime Against Humanity, making his invasion, occupation, and everything that followed, illegal and immoral as well.

From Populist Rage to Revolution

Americans clearly are capable of being outraged. Missing, however, is a sustained, vibrant demand for deep reforms of our political and government system. You hear a lot about populist rage these days, especially connected to the AIG bonus debacle. But populist rage as a reflection of class conflict and anger about our economic meltdown does not necessarily make a political revolution. The saddest thing about Obama winning the presidency was that his change message drained what might have been sufficient national energy for true revolutionary political reforms.

With the Bush-corrosion of our Constitution and collapse of the economic system after it had been exploited by the rich and corrupt, what better time for revolution? Instead, we got a president with a glib tongue, a terrific smile and a deep commitment to the two-party plutocracy and corporate state. Obama is no populist, not even close. Nor is he a genuine reformer. At best, he is a master exploiter of populism.

Peak-Oil-and-the-Nature-of-Money

Serious transformation of the American nation requires clear action to change the nature of money by abolition of the Fed and enactment of the American Monetary Act of 2008. Jefferson was right about the destructive power of banks.

The creation of the Federal Reserve is the source of most economic crimes foisted upon the American people in the past 96 years. See the warnings by Rep. Charles Lindbergh, Sr. (R-MN), Lewis McFadden (R-PA), and Wright Patman (D-TX) from 1913, 1932 - 1934, and 1941 respectively.

The Populists knew what the nature of money meant. They organized around recreation of Lincoln's Greenbacks and free coinage of silver.

Senator Feingold Has Constitutional Opportunity

Like others promoting constitutional amendments, Senator Russ Feingold, Democrat, Wisconsin, apparently is unaware of the refusal by Congress to obey Article V of the Constitution. He has a fine idea: every senator must actually be elected rather than appointed to that position. In 1913 the 17th amendment created the potential for governors to make appointments to fill Senate seats until the next regular scheduled general election and 38 states allow this; there have been 185 such appointments. Feingold is right to condemn “decisions being made solely by the powerful, without the consent, or even the input, of the people.”

People's Declaration of Sovereign Right and Ultimatum

posted at We the People Network wtpnet.org

The time has come America. Actually it came some eight years ago, but I, like most of you, have been afraid to do what I now know in my heart we all must do. The time has come for the American people to take full responsibility for the direction our country moves in. The time has come for all of us to set aside our differences and to muster up the courage that it will surely take in order for We the People to take proactive action for the future of not only our country, but our world.

As current events have shown, what we do here in the industrialized countries affects not only us, but the entire world, and mostly in negative ways. And as current events have shown, we cannot and must not depend on the politicians for the essential reform we seek.

Why? Because it will NEVER happen.

The time has come for We the People to put all options "on the table" in the nonviolent defense of our Constitution and our Democratic Republic. The time has come for We the People to offer President Barack Obama an alternative platform, knowing his integrity and conscience will cause him to see the wisdom of the People's will. The time has come for We the People to reclaim our Sovereignty as provided for in our original founding document, the Declaration of Independence. I hereby submit to my fellow Americans for your approval and debate, this rough draft of the People's Declaration of Sovereign Right and Ultimatum.

An Appeal for Sensibility

When Barack Obama was elected President, I was one of the millions who began to feel hopeful for the future. However two months into the new administration, I am one of the millions who now feels that we the people have been lied to. Sold out to the highest bidder. All the promises made by Obama during his campaign are either being severely watered down in their implementation, or they are being discarded for the furtherance of the failed and illegal policies of the Bush Administration. Well I feel that I have been propagandized for the last time.

Abolish Private "for profit" Prisons

A “SINGLE VOICE PROJECT” is the official name of the petition sponsored by: The National Public Service Council To Abolish Private Prisons (NPSCTAPP)

THIS PETITION SEEKS TO ABOLISH ALL PRIVATE PRISONS IN THE UNITED STATES, (or any place subject to its jurisdiction)

The National Public Service Council To Abolish Private Prisons (NPSCTAPP) is a grass roots organization driven by a single objective. We want the United States government to reclaim sole authority for state and federal prisons on US soil.
